Connect cloud accounts

Posture only appears after you connect at least one provider. The connection is read-only - CloudFence audits, it does not change your resources.

Add a provider

1. Go to Settings > Security Connectors (or Cloud accounts).
2. Click Add cloud account and pick the provider: AWS, Azure, GCP or Kubernetes.
3. Follow the provider step:
   • AWS - create a read-only audit role and provide the ARN.
   • Azure - register an app/service principal with a reader role.
   • GCP - a service account with viewer/security reviewer role.
   • Kubernetes - apply the provided read-only manifest and provide the endpoint.
4. Save. The connection is validated immediately.

Least privilege

Always use read-only, least-privilege credentials. If a request fails, the screen shows unknown - it never reconfigures the connector for you.

Run the first scan

After connecting, the first scan runs automatically (or trigger it manually). When it finishes, posture appears prioritized by severity.
